Join the Capral family as a Supply Chain Analyst! We are looking for an experienced professional to ensure the smooth and efficient supply and distribution of aluminium extrusions and components. Primary Responsibilities:
- Review requisitions and procure inventory in line with forecasts and budget
- Expedite the procurement of manufactured materials that are subject to customer backorders or are at risk of being in a stock out situation
- Provide root cause analysis of stock outs and first pass hit rate failures together with development and implementation of corrective actions
- Manage new product introduction projects effectively including the run out of superseded inventory; introduction of new products at the appropriate time to ensure low levels of product obsolescence and continuing high levels of customer service
- Review and action MRP exception messages
- Analyse existing supply routes, supply chain settings and stocking locations to provide cost effective solutions that meet the developing needs of the business
- Identify product to be ordered from overseas suppliers considering constraints including stock turns and containerisation
- Maintain a high level of Masterdata accuracy including lead times, supply points and lot sizes
- Coordinate reviews of slow moving and obsolete stock and carry out agreed actions
- Balancing stock levels across multiple sites to ensure overstocks are reduced
- Modify and maintain forecasts in line with feedback from sales
- Make inventory and supply decisions in line with budget
- Prepare and circulate reports into inventory performance and KPI's
- Assist in annual stock takes
- Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH& E)
To be considered applicants SHOULD have:
ESSENTIAL
- Relevant qualifications in logistics, inventory management, purchasing, or a related discipline or experience in a similar role with proven administrative skills
- Advanced level of computer skills (Excel, database management, MS Word) and demonstrated strengths in data interpretation
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
DESIRABLE
- Experience within a similar role / industry
- Working knowledge of SAP
