Medical Designs (MDI) is a medical equipment manufacturer and supplier for hospitals in Australia, New Zealand and South‐East Asia with over 25 years' experience. Our expertise allows us to provide a wide range of bespoke medical pendant solutions to suit our customers' needs. MDI is proudly an Australian owned company committed to delivering projects to the highest standard.

MDI is excited to announce that we're looking for two new team members to join our dynamic Production Team, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and production process of medical equipment, working closely with the Floor Manager and Manufacturing Manager to ensure quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

In this role, you will:

Ensure accurate and high‐quality assembly of our products by following established processes, instructions, and safety procedures.
Work closely with team members, the Floor Manager, and the Manufacturing Manager to complete assembly tasks, support quality control checks, and promptly report any issues to supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Monitor production equipment, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to ongoing process improvements that enhance efficiency.
Help foster a positive team environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices.
Assist with the installation and servicing of products on‐site from time to time, with full training provided.

The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety. They are adaptable, eager to learn, and able to follow instructions while contributing positively to a high‐performing team environment.

Requirements:

Fit and capable of physical labour
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 35kg) and perform manual labour
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and meet production goals
Experience with hand tools, soldering, power tools, or mechanical assembly is a plus.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Consistent work history and are looking for a long‐term role.
