We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our service team in Brisbane to provide technical support to our customers across QLD.
Based in Brisbane, QLD, this Field Service Engineer will be responsible for onsite service and repair for our range of automated robotic solutions, BD ROWA, in hospitals and pharmacies across QLD.
You will spend most of your time working across our retail pharmacy customer base in Brisbane, Gold Coast and with some travel to regional parts of Queensland.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide software and hardware support for BD ROWA. Remote support and diagnostics to products, including server reboots and patching. Handover of remote service diagnosis to Field Engineers. Carry out field repairs, preventative maintenance, performance testing and electrical safety testing of company-related electro-medical equipment. Provide a point of contact for Medical Systems customers for electronic servicing of equipment, spare parts and technical information. Assist and support installations of Medical Systems. Actively participate with other team members to achieve the department’s objectives. Ensure adherence to department health and safety procedures. Ensure all documentation is up to date and accurate.Education and Experience
Trade qualified (Electrical or Mechanical). Restricted electrical license (Desirable). Full Electrical license (Advantageous). Knowledge of low voltage supplies and control wiring (Desirable). Full, clean driving license. Self‐motivated individual with clear focus, able to work in a small team under pressure. Proven team spirit/leadership. Evidence of practical engineering experience and competence. Evidence of understanding of engineering drawing. Ability to safely carry manual handling, working at height (A frame ladder) activities. Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills. Evidence of completing and finishing tasks to a high standard. Able to represent the company at all times; well presented, polite, courteous, punctual.If you do not currently have an electrical licence but have relevant experience and you are willing to undertake electrical training to obtain a restricted electrical licence, we would encourage you apply.
There is approximately 30% travel to regional parts of Queensland as well interstate for training purposes.
