DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Manager, Supply & Distribution in Sydney.
The role is responsible for managing assigned customers to determine the best supply solutions regarding the supply, storage, and distribution of goods.
Your typical day at DSV:
- Stock
- Liaise with customers to determine optimal stock levels and plan accordingly.
- Record and track all stock movements in and out of the warehouse, from suppliers and customers.
- Control direct costs and overheads related to the accounts.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers involved in accounts.
- Manage key commercial leads to increase revenue on accounts.
- Align invoicing with contract and rate conditions.
- Develop strategies to ensure ongoing viability and longevity of the accounts.
- Build strategic partnerships with other business divisions.
- Manage and oversee warehouse and domestic transportation operations, ensuring KPI targets are met.
- Lead monthly and quarterly operational reviews.
- Manage operational costs and ensure procurement compliance.
- Train and guide managers in operational best practices.
- Advise management and customers on optimal supply, storage, and distribution strategies.
About You:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree with a focus on logistics and supply chain principles.
- Have over 2 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics.
- Skilled in managing customer accounts and ensuring satisfaction.
- Operational knowledge of warehousing and transportation, including inbound and outbound processes.
- Proficient in Cargo Wise One (CW1) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
