Office Management (Administration & Office Support) Government - State (Government & Defence) The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board) of South Australia’s primary role is the provision of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) to government, non-government and international schools. The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board The Manager, Office of the Chief Executive is responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive range of professional, confidential and responsive executive support services to the Chief Executive and the Executive team. You will oversee the central administration team in the delivery of quality services, including managing correspondence, meeting papers, briefings, presentations, agendas, and coordinating and managing Board functions and governance support. What you will BRING Significant experience in the provision of high level professional executive support services. An understanding of the protocols and procedures operating between a Government agency and a Ministerial office. Experience providing advice on day-to-day portfolio matters, statutory, cabinet, and parliamentary requirements; coordinate and prepare ministerial requests, reports, and briefings for the expert input from others as needed. Management of freedom of information requests effectively to meet legislative obligations and adhere to corporate reporting responsibility. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the research and development of accurate, clear and detailed written reports, recommendations and other formal and sensitive business communications. People leadership: you’re passionate about leading, developing and motivating team members through the delivery of best practice. Special Conditions Intrastate travel to regional and remote locations; international and interstate travel may be required. A current driver’s licence is required. Some out-of-hours work. The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services and in accordance with the SACE Board policy. Remuneration ASO7 classification level. Salary range $106,512 to $115,137per annum plus super. This is a contract/term vacancy for up to 3 years.
