Manager, Governance and Property

  • Ongoing role, full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 35 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (flexibility may be available)

The Role

The Manager, Governance and Property leads a team responsible for the administration, oversight and advice on governance and property management accountabilities of the Minister for Skills and TAFE in relation to Victorian public universities. This spans university property and land transactions, appointments to university councils, and tabling of Victorian universities' annual reports.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing well informed advice on a portfolio of property and governance matters
  • Providing employees with the leadership, information and guidance required to achieve outcomes
  • Initiating, managing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Team

The position of Manager - Governance and Property forms a part of the ACFFE, Higher Education and Workforce (AHEW) branch within the Skills and Employment group.
