About the opportunity: We are partnered with a successful professional services practice located on the Gold Coast that is experiencing continued growth across their client base and team. They provide tailored financial advice, accounting and mortgage broking solutions and have been in operation for close to 10 years. Due to business growth, they are looking to hire a management accountant/finance officer. Benefits: Work closely with directors and management Growing firm with room for career development Work life balance and work from home flexibility (1 day per week)Monthly RDO's Regular morning tea provided and social events Tasks and responsibilities: Complete end of month reporting including journals and reconciliations, and then present results providing feedback on performance against budgets/forecasts Manage the day-to-day financial reporting Support the annual budgeting process Provide business performance reporting and analysis to improve operational and business performance Working with, and maintaining, complex Financial Models Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks Preparation and lodgment of monthly/quarterly Business and Instalment Activity Statements Payroll processing About you: Previous experience in a management accountant role in an Australian professional services firm (e.g. financial services, accounting or legal)Hold a formal qualification such as Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting Experience with financial reporting of multiple entities and consolidated financial statements Experience using Xero and ideally Worksorted Strong understanding of compliance obligations Strong customer service and communication skills Salary is flexible depending on skills and experience, circa $85,000 + Super.
