The Municipality of the County of Victoria is hiring a Waste Collection Driver on based out of the Waste Management Facility in Baddeck, Nova Scotia.
This position is responsible for the collection and delivery of curbside waste, recyclables, and organics from pre-assigned and special routes to waste management facilities, as well as the operation and maintenance of municipal collection vehicles.
Term: Full-time; four (4) month term; non-unionized Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Rate: $24.23 per hour+ 4% vacation pay
Qualifications:
Valid Nova Scotia Class 3 Driver's License with air brake certification required
Valid Nova Scotia Class 1 Driver's License with air brake certification preferred
