Applications are invited from enthusiastic and experienced Librarians to support the operation of our College library, providing access to resources, fostering a love of reading, and supporting the learning needs of students and staff.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the College library, ensuring effective systems, processes, and resource management
Develop and maintain a relevant and engaging library collection that supports curriculum and student interests
Support students and staff with research, information access, and digital literacy
Promote reading and library services through displays, programs, and events
Collaborate with staff to support teaching and learning
Supervise students and maintain a welcoming, safe, and productive learning environment within the library
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a valid Working with Children Check, National Police Certificate, and appropriate qualifications in library and information science, along with full Australian Working Rights.
Salary and Conditions
The Librarian salary and conditions are in accordance with the Education Support Employee - Category B scale under the applicable Catholic Education Agreement.
