We are looking for talented and motivated In-House Legal Counsels to join our network in Sydney. Working with Clario, you will provide expert legal advice and support to clients across multiple industries and specialisations. You will work closely with our clients to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, mitigate risks, and contribute to their overall success.

The Role:

Our client is a technology leader with multiple opportunities to join their in-house legal team across general commercial law, transactions, and regulatory compliance. Contracts range from 3-6 months with a high possibility of extension, providing an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a premier brand.

This is a Sydney-based, hybrid opportunity with an expectation to attend the office 1 day per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters, including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, marketing compliance, technology, and data privacy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist the client in achieving strategic and commercial objectives.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends.

About You:

• A qualified lawyer with 5-10 PQE.
• Previous experience working with a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
• Strong knowledge of Australian law and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive and positive attitude.
• You must have full working rights in Australia. We cannot support sponsorship at this time.
