Reporting to the HR Director, the Employee Relations Manager will be providing industrial relations advice, guidance and support to the wider HR team, as well as leading key IR/ER strategic ER Manager will collaborate with HR, offering counsel on performance issues, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, grievance handling, union engagement, performance management procedures, and employment responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison with unions, Fair Work Australia, and legal counsel.

Work closely with HR leadership to develop and communicate policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure alignment with labor legislation and address legal issues.

Lead negotiations with unions to establish and renew agreements, fostering positive relationships.

Design and deliver training programs on performance coaching, conflict resolution, and fostering an inclusive work ideal candidate will have recent experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, or Employment Law, preferably with an HR Generalist or Legal background.
