If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, then we want to meet you!The role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Philanthropy team. This a full-time, permanent role that will be based at our beautiful office in South Brisbane. The Senior Philanthropy Manager has a strategic focus and is specifically designed to grow the value and strengthen the portfolio across major donors, Private Ancillary Foundations (PAFs), and philanthropy committees and their networks. The Senior Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for driving philanthropic support, cultivating strategic partnerships, and elevating the organization's profile through a calendar of annual events & activations and application of a major donor stewardship strategy. Key criteria To be successful in this role, you will possess the following: Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline. Five + years of experience in philanthropy, business development, media/PR, or related fields, with demonstrated success in securing major gifts, corporate partnerships, and media coverage. Demonstrated experience developing credible, tailored, articulate and compelling cases for support for prospective supporters. Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring high performing teams. Excellent communication skills, including persuasive writing, public speaking, and media relations, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and engage diverse audiences effectively.
