Description


The role
Working with David Benson, this role will give you the opportunity to work across large litigious and non-litigious IP/IT matters together with high-profile pieces of litigation across Australia.
You will be joining a team regularly recognised as among the market leaders in IP/IT in Perth and as part of a national IP/IT team that has worked, and continues to work, on significant litigious and non-litigious IP/IT matters. In doing so, you will also have the unique opportunity to work with clients who are dealing in the rights associated with cutting edge technologies, entering into high value IT contracts, and navigating an ever more complex set of data privacy laws.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a dynamic lawyer who can contribute to the success of this practice, and who is seeking to develop their career under the expert guidance of leading partners and lawyers.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 4 years PQE;
IP/IT experience gained within private practice;
Strong academic achievements;
Familiarity with Supreme/Federal Court litigation;
Initiative and drive to grow as a lawyer in an environment that values autonomy, independence and a strong work ethic together with a collaborative team environment;
A strong focus on delivering exceptional client service; and
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; required for building effective client relationships and contributing to a positive team environment
