The Senior Legal Counsel will play a key role in navigating the legal complexities of our business while driving strategic success. You’ll work alongside a strong leadership team, reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer.
Your Role at Auto Grab
As Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll provide strategic legal guidance to support our growth, innovation, and international expansion. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to navigate legal complexities, develop strategic partnerships, engage in M&A activity, ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and create long-term value.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-border transactions and international legal matters, working with our teams across the UK, EU, and Asia-Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic transactions and deals that support our growth, expansion, and value creation.
- Provide legal advice across commercial, corporate, M&A, intellectual property, technology, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including Saa S agreements, supplier contracts, master partnership agreements, new product terms, AI compliance, and privacy policies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, consumer protection, and corporate governance regulations.
- Identify and manage legal risks related to Auto Grab’s expansion and product innovation.
- Support leadership in areas such as intellectual property protection, commercial structuring, and product commercialization.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes when necessary, including liaising with external counsel.
- Develop and implement legal policies and frameworks to support business operations while mitigating risk.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5-7+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial or corporate law (in-house or tech industry experience a plus).
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management.
- Ability to balance legal risks with commercial objectives and provide practical solutions.
- Experience in data privacy, intellectual property, technology/AI, or regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and international markets.
