About the Role
We're partnering with a leading national utilities and infrastructure business seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to support its in-house legal team on a 3‐month daily‐rate contract.
Working closely with senior legal and business stakeholders, you'll provide practical, commercial legal advice across a range of energy, water and corporate matters, helping the organisation with BAU work and managing regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, projects and regulatory compliance
Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
Support internal stakeholders across corporate function
Identify and manage legal and compliance risks
Collaborate with external counsel and regulators as required
About You:
7‐8+ years' PQE, admitted to practice in Australia
Energy Sector experience highly advantageous
Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a solutions‐focused approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Able to work independently in a fast‐paced, commercial environment

Sydney‐based with flexible hybrid working
Immediate start preferred (can be part time)
