Newcastle CBD Hybrid working 2 days in the office 3 at home. Newcastle's Preferred Utilities Employer We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst, acting as the link connecting Digital and business units, driving process improvements and project successes through skillful collaboration to align requirements with operational essentials. Duties will include: Develop business requirements and report specification documents with stakeholder input. Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify subject matter experts and approval managers. Elicit requirements through interviews, document reviews, workshops, surveys, and site visits. Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams. Coordinate and facilitate workshops and cross-functional meetings. Support project go-live readiness activities under Project and Implementation Managers' direction. Coordinate and execute testing functions with testing team and stakeholders. Conduct assigned project activities within timelines and budget. Evaluate information from multiple sources and resolve conflicts. Communicate business system processes, changes, and activities to stakeholders. Engage stakeholders to identify, review, and analyse reporting requirements within project scope. Liaise with Business Intelligence and Analysis team to ensure reports meet specifications. Identify and manage issues and risks, ensuring appropriate capture and action. Support team members in knowledge sharing and work delivery. Who we are looking for: Experience in a Business Analyst role having worked across a range of IT / business solutions. A track record of delivering innovative IT / business solutions and technologies. Experience within Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methods. Desirable Experience in delivering infrastructure projects (e.g. WAN & LAN upgrades, Server Migration, Network and Communications upgrades). Experience with Information Security projects (e.g. Role based access, AVP upgrades, network threat detection, log management and analysis). Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or related discipline, or proven equivalent industry experience. Project Management Qualifications (PRINCE2, AgilePM or similar) Qualifications in Business Analysis tools and methodology or similar.
