The Role As the Head of Customer Data and Insights you will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Your primary focus will be on leveraging data to uncover actionable insights and providing strategic guidance to key stakeholders. Your role responsibilities will include: ·Develop and execute the customer data and insights strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives ·Oversee customer approach to value creation across the business, including research and analysis of customer trends and behaviours ·Lead, mentor, and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment ·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and opportunities where data science and insights can deliver significant value ·Define and implement robust data collection, integration, and analysis processes to generate actionable insights for marketing teams ·Oversee customer research program, including value creation research, brand tracking and ad hoc activity ·Utilise statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights from complex datasets ·Interpret data findings and translate them into meaningful recommendations and actionable strategies for various stakeholders ·Lead team to build self-service reporting and dashboards for stakeholder use ·Contribute to data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations ·Promote ethical data practices and champion the responsible use of data throughout the organisation ·Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics ·Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders ·Collaborate with teams across the organization to integrate data-driven insights into decision-making processes ·Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on data analysis Your Experience As the Head of Customer Data and Insights you will be well versed in shaping a data-driven culture and strategic decision-making through cutting-edge analytics.You will have proven experience in statistical analysis, strong capabilities in programming languages such as Python, R or SQL, combined with data visualisation tools and techniques. You will have excellent leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G’day Group.
