Family Violence Liaison Officer (524723)Department of Health Community, Mental Health & Wellbeing CMHW - Tasmanian Health Services Applications must be submitted by Sunday 19 January, 2025 11:55 PM AESTAward/Classification: Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement, Allied Health Professional, Level 3 Employment type: Full Time Region: South Location: Family Violence Service South This role has a key responsibility in the education, training, and mentoring of staff within the SFSK Advice and Referral Line regarding family violence matters, including the broader Family Violence service sector (government and community), utilizing contemporary knowledge of the service systems for both victims and offenders. The Role Act as a day-to-day liaison point between the FVCSS and the SFSK Advice and Referral Line to facilitate support for children and families identified as being at risk via the Safe at Home initiative. Provide advice and support to staff within the SFSK Advice and Referral Line involved in regional Integrated Case Coordination. Assist staff in identifying the best service response to support families experiencing family violence, including assistance, referrals, direct case liaison, and intervention for complex cases. Play a key role in the education, training, and mentoring of staff within the SFSK Advice and Referral Line regarding family violence matters. Details of Appointment Fixed term, full-time day work working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 24 April 2025. Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $106,966 - $118,114 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging. Access to salaries beyond $109,964 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme (For AHP3 positions only). Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.*Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies. Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria: Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, with either full membership or eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
