Job Description Under general direction, the person performing this job is responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment for production equipment, support equipment, and facilities. Ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. Duties and Responsibilities Diagnosis of commercial chillers Diagnosis of HVAC units (Rooftop and Mini split)Diagnosis of Firing Furnaces Diagnosis of refrigeration equipment Diagnosis of dehumidification systems Service of Makeup air units Preventative maintenance Perform other related duties as assigned or requested Required Skills Concern for safety of self and others Self-starter with continuous improvement focus Ability to perform basic math and algebra calculations Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to listen and understand ideas from operators, co-workers, supervisors, and others Ability to plan and execute work with limited supervision Visual inspection skills Ability to analyze and diagnose problems Troubleshooting skills Great attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to work in a team setting Skills, Expertise, and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Journeyman's Card or Certification preferred but not required1-3 years manufacturing experience
