Umpire (Casual) $35.35 per hour inclusive of casual loading)* Futsal – required availability Monday evening Netball – required availability Tuesday and Wednesday evening, Friday morning This position is classified as a (PACS) Band 1-2 position under the City of Kwinana’s structured renumeration system *clause 7.5 Junior Employee rates applicable _______________________________________________________________ An exciting opportunity exists for Casual Umpires (Futsal and Netball) to join the City of Kwinana’s recreation centre (the Recquatic).
Reporting to the Sports and Programs Team Leader, you will be responsible for officiating sports competitions in a professional, unbiased manner and to assist in maintaining a safe environment for all sports teams taking part in sports competitions.
The Sport Umpire/Referee has a high level of player engagement, interacting before, during and after games.
 Our Umpires' role is to ensure our Social Sports competitions stay social and they create a fun and enjoyable environment for all teams and players.

Developed interpersonal and communication skills especially conflict resolution/negotiation skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of participant engagement and customer service.
Effective time management and organisational skills Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications: Certification in sport dependant umpiring/refereeing Badged Certification preferred (A, B or C) Current Provide First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance To be considered for this position please submit a cover letter outlining the sports you are qualified to umpire and your availability (days, morning, evening and/or weekend), along with your current resume.
