You will play a crucial role in contributing to business improvement projects across the City to enhance the customer experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving organisational change through innovative service solutions.

What you'll do:

• Lead research initiatives to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities, especially for diverse and vulnerable communities.
• Create service blueprints, journey maps, and process models that visualise service interactions and uncover areas for improvement.
• Develop and prototype service concepts to enhance the user experience, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and local government policies.
• Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions to foster collaboration across teams, driving creative solutions and shared outcomes.
• Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment for all service improvements.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of designed services, using performance metrics and user feedback to inform enhancements.

What you'll bring:

• Expertise in service design frameworks, user experience (UX), and design thinking methodologies.
