Funding, Reporting and Analytics Manager • This is your opportunity to support the business in planning and monitoring performance by using strategic information management system and tools to analyse and report data, including expenditure and activity. • Temporary Full-time opportunity for 12 months This role supports the Director Financial Performance and plays an integral role in the Financial Performance Branch in the provision of strategic financial decision support services to a complex range of stakeholders. This role works closely with the Executive service provider leads, financial service provider teams, external stakeholders and key senior clinicians to provide expert strategic advice based on West Moreton Health's (WMH) strategic direction using financial analysis and reporting to support decision making. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: • High level knowledge and understanding of budgetary, funding, activity and costing frameworks, Service Level Agreements, and performance reporting within a public or health sector environment at a strategic level. The ability to lead the budget maintainance process and reporting including in Tridata. • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide advice and recommendations to the Excecutive and other senior managers. • Ability to manage staff in line with contemporary human resource management policies, procedures and practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational healtha and safety and ethical behaviour. • Ability to provide a high level strategic financial and business advisory support using commercial finance experience and acumen, including analysis of budget trends, investigation of variances, and presentation of quality financial, staffing and activity data compared to budgets, targets, benchmarks and key performance indicators. • Proven experience in the ability to accurately interpret and analyse the information requirements of clinical and non-clinical clients including Revenue Optimisation initiatives and to use computerised health information, clinical costing, and financial systems and other tools to meet information needs. • Ability to appraise viability of projects based on cost benefit analysis and use of relevent investment appraisal methodologies to provide required advice and recommendations. • Advanced level skills in the application of computerised information systems to improve performance reporting and analysis. • Ability to develop financial models useful for business planning and forecasting West Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
