Job Description
- Ensure deliveries are made safely.
- Efficiently and effectively co-ordinate the delivery of product, problem solving issues as they arrive to meet targets
- Contribute to the optimal utilisation of the company fleet
- Ensure that no load ever arrives late without a phone call to the customer prior to the expected delivery time
- Provide exceptional service to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast delivery needs and schedule deliveries accordingly.
The Successful Applicant
- 2 years + experience within the transport industry
- Prior experience in a fleet allocator / fleet scheduler role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
