2026 Basic Paediatric Trainee (year 2, 3+) SA Paediatric Network Job no: 902482 Work type: Full time Location: Adelaide CBDCategories: Medical Women's and Children's Health Network (WCH) Paediatric Basic Training (Year 2 & 3), North Adelaide (5006)Salary Classification - MDP2 - Medical Practitioner - $105,751 to $171,579 p.a(includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits)Full time - Term Contract About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Division as a Basic Trainee 2nd or 3rd year, where you will be responsible for: Rotating through a variety of general and subspecialty paediatrics as part of the SA Paediatric Training Network Gaining exposure to both acute paediatric medicine and subspecialty medicine Contributing to the provision of clinical services for inpatients and outpatients Undertaking rotations at the Women's and Children's Hospital, Lyell Mc Ewin Hospital, and Flinders Medical Centre Actively participating in clinical teaching activities Engaging in associated research projects About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent, Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration Registered with RACP as a paediatric basic trainee and into your 2nd or 3rd year of training. Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Ability to work under stressful conditions and/or high workloads.
