All posting locations: Southbank, Victoria, Australia Job Function: 05 - Marketing Date Published: 17-Aug-2023 Ref : R-73448 Description & Requirements About the Role The Head of Portfolio- Commercial Strategy is responsible for the general management of the categories in the portfolio. This includes but is not limited to creating in depth category strategies and strategic plans for the next 3-5 years- owning the annual operating plan and delivery- developing a strong- driven team and making day to day decisions to ensure sustainable revenues and profits. You will be responsible - Manage and control the monthly- quarterly and annual business cycles for the business unit Provide thought leadership across Category- Revenue Management and Commercial Finance with direct management of these functions Lead team through periods of ambiguity and towards a clear vision Provide and validate analytically based recommendations that are translated into business results Working directly with the Director of Commercial Strategy- CFO- CMO and Sales Directors to ensure all are fully aware of the shape of the business- minimising surprises. About You 10 years of working experience preferably in FMCG across category- sales- finance or marketing departments Strong positive leadership qualities that create strong team culture Strong people management skills that can lead teams through change management.
