As a member of the Technology Strategy practice, you are an emerging strategic IT advisor with 6-10 years’ experience. You are comfortable interacting with multiple levels of client personnel including senior leaders. You enjoy leading or being part of a high performance geographically distributed delivery teams. You are enthusiastic about technology and stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and business innovations. You are experienced with at least two aspects of strategic IT planning from the following: enterprise architecture (business, application, data, technology), IT governance, org design, portfolio simplification, cloud & emerging technology strategy, IT financial management. You embrace the relationship between business and technology. You understand how to integrate business needs and technology opportunities into a cohesive strategy and plan. You also have experience supporting consulting business development. Experience in at least two industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

In this dynamic client-facing and internal leadership role, you will:

• Independently develop strategic advice for senior client IT and business stakeholders under overall direction of a project lead
• Direct & create project deliverables as required, including managing associated client expectations
• Lead project workstreams independently, playing a client-facing role and responsible for successful delivery of outcomes. Lead or participate as team member in a multi-disciplined global delivery teams
• Cultivate and grow mid-level client relationships in an advisory capacity, establishing credibility as a trusted advisor
• Support consultative sales to achieve business growth. Identify sales opportunities and help create well-structured client proposals, including project scoping, technical requirements, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients. Support Sales and Account teams to develop and execute account penetration strategies
• Support hiring, training, and mentoring of team members
• Assist in development of intellectual properties, service offerings, and related materials as required

Qualifications

• 6-10 years’ experience in IT Services with at least 3 years as a Strategic Advisor and 4 years in a client facing consulting role.
• For this role, experience in delivering Enterprise Architecture artefacts, and uplifting EA capability is needed. Preferably in Energy & Utilities industry.
• Successful track record in supporting business growth as well as project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with “C” level clients. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships.
• Understanding of management consulting and IT frameworks to align business and IT. Experience working with business stakeholders to capture business strategies and goals. Experience developing strategic roadmaps for clients incorporating business and technology drivers.
• Good and broad understanding of Business architecture, Technology trends, IT infrastructure and operations, applications landscape to drive architectural conversations. Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Alfabet, Lean IX, Abacus, or similar. Understanding of technology delivery models and governance models (including cloud and digital transformation). Experience with agile delivery.
