Reporting to the EGM Performance and Reward you will be joining a global team of professionals with responsibility for delivering reward programmes across Xero. You will be successful in helping drive Xero's reward strategy and ensuring programmes support Xero's global business goals and objectives. What you’ll do Supporting the EGM, Reward, in preparing papers for the Remuneration Committee including coordinating with the office of the Company Secretary. Helping prepare remuneration reports and related disclosures. Act as the primary contact for mobility within the Reward team. Helping design and review incentive plans such as short term incentives, long term incentives, sales incentives, sign on bonus, retention and project related incentives. Review and operation of benefit programs especially for EMEA. Design and management of employee recognition programs. Review and design of employee share plans. Support our Finance and Legal teams with incentive and equity administration. Develop Xero’s reward frameworks and ensure it’s aligned with our business goals and objectives, simple to administer, and compelling for employees. Design remuneration policies that support the attraction, retention and motivation of key talent, including incentive plans and rewards programmes. Manage the annual salary review process annual Short Term Incentive (STI) plans. Gather and utilise survey data, monitor market trends and developments, recommend improvements to existing programmes, and propose new programmes. Develop remuneration structures and create salary ranges based on external market data. Ensure a consistent and systematic approach to evaluation of roles through to executive level. Manage relationships with consultancies/vendors, determine market data needs and manage associated cost budget. Support People Experience (PX) and Talent Experience (TX) teams in day to day remuneration related issues. Advise managers on interpretation and application of remuneration structures and individual salary treatment. Be a point of contact for estimates, forecasts and calculations for remuneration and benefit expenses to make sure we’re aligned with Finance. Support the business in analysis which contributes to other business goals and objectives such as diversity. Ensure records and reports are maintained in Workday and the benefits of Workday are fully realised. Critical competencies. Experience in supporting ASX listed Remuneration Committee work either in a corporate or consulting environment. Mathematical aptitude and exceptional analytical skills - this person needs to be a spreadsheet genius. Success in geographically and culturally diverse environments. Strong knowledge of worldwide remuneration and benefits regulations and market trends. The humility to be the person doing the work at-hand, the confidence to represent your work to executives and the intestinal fortitude to stand your ground if you know you are right. Experience you will bring with you. Undergraduate and/or Master's Degree preferably in Human Resources, Management or similar. Significant experience in remuneration, benefits and rewards programmes especially ASX. Excellent analytical, written and presentation skills. Experience managing multiple global stakeholders at senior levels. Project management and excellent communication skills. Strong background in HCM systems (Workday an advantage) Why Xero?
