SPG is a private-side, client-facing business area that markets, structures, finances and distributes bonds and loans backed by a range of collateral types. This team works with a wide selection of clients, including banks, non-bank financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity sponsors, corporates and asset managers. Job responsibilities Contribution to new business/origination activities (meeting clients, preparation of internal memos, client presentations and RFP responses) Execution of public and private ABS and RMBS transactions Preparation of deal term sheets, deal timelines and working party lists Review of transaction documentation Interaction with third party service providers, including rating agencies and external law firms Taking lead on modelling and analytics related to new business/origination activities Preparation of regular MIS, pipeline reports and investment committee memos Required qualifications, capabilities and skills A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline 5-10 years of relevant analytical experience in structured finance/securitisation including knowledge of the rating process for Australian ABS/RMBS Experience arranging/originating ABS/RMBS transactions Prior cash flow modeling experience Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects concurrently The ability to engage confidently with both internal stakeholders and external clients at varying levels of seniority and across multiple time zones
