Job Description

As the Director of Finance , you will be a strategic partner to the General Manager and Executive Team, providing financial insights that inform key decisions and enable operational excellence. You will oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, while ensuring robust internal controls and a strong performance culture.

• Ensure that all Management Agreement and Owners Corporation matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner – with accuracy and attention to detail
• Manage Trust Accounts for Mondrian Residences
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and month-end reporting
• Driving profitability through detailed analysis of performance metrics and cost controls
• Overseeing cash flow, capital expenditure, and financial risk management
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies, and brand standards
• Establish procedures, processes and accurate information that support key financial objectives.
• Liaising with owners, auditors, and external stakeholders
• Leading the Finance team across accounting, payroll, purchasing, and IT

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within hospitality or luxury lifestyle environments
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools
• Understanding of state and federal legislation for tax, superannuation, long service leave and National Employment Standards
• Thorough knowledge and experience of financial accounting principles and procedures including statutory responsibilities
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• A proactive, solution-focused approach and strong attention to detail
