About The Role: The Senior Executive Officer undertakes a key strategic and leadership role within Revenue WA. Through collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders, the role provides high level advice, complex research and quality reporting to inform strategic decision making. The role is also responsible for coordinating strategy, finance and governance initiatives on behalf of the Commissioner of State Revenue. The role takes responsibility for a wide range of strategic, cultural, and process improvement projects and tasks ranging from business planning to process mapping, drafting briefing notes for the Minister for Finance, consulting with internal and external stakeholders on developing policies and procedures, overseeing internal and external KPI reporting, organising events to promote our culture and values, and much more. About You: You are an experienced professional with a background in strategy, corporate governance, taxation, law, accounting, ICT or ministerial liaison. You are now looking to take the next step in your career by entering a role with a broad cross-functional scope which touches on all of the above. You appreciate the importance of both day-to-day operations and high-level strategy, and how the two work together in delivering excellent service to customers and stakeholders.
