Our comprehensive range of services includes peer support, advocacy, and awareness campaigns aimed at making a positive impact on the community. Our core service is to provide critical, timely financial support to members who sustain a permanent traumatic spinal cord injury. PBF is headquartered in Perth with a small team in Brisbane and an amazing team of volunteers. The Board of PBF Australia is delighted to invite applications from aspiring leaders who are transformational, commercial and committed to working with people living with a spinal cord injury. As we approach our 40th anniversary in 2024, the Board is looking for a CEO who will lead the organisation through its next period of growth and who will: develop and deliver the next strategic plan in partnership with the Board, grow our membership base to ensure financial and service viability, drive sustainable growth and the evolution of PBF, ensure compliance with the regulations under our AFSL licence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and partnerships, commit to the values of the organisation, work effectively with the Board. Applicants will demonstrate extensive experience and success in a comparable leadership role, with financial and commercial experience managing budgets, people, governance and risk management. Preferably, the incoming CEO will have held a senior role in a member-based organisation, or with a financial or marketing/sales background, operating in a financial regulatory environment.
