MARS are proudly partnering with a well-established and high performing organisation that's looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team in a newly created role. Reporting directly to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, this position will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights, driving business performance, and influencing strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Business Partnering: Act as a trusted finance advisor to senior executives, working closely with them to optimise financial performance and support key business decisions. Build strong relationships across departments to drive financial accountability and efficiency.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation, analysis, and reporting of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Performance Analysis & Insights: Deliver meaningful financial insights and reporting to senior stakeholders, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance decision-making.
- Financial Modelling & Data Analytics: Leverage tools like Power BI, Excel, and Adaptive Planning to develop financial models that support scenario analysis, investment decisions, and business cases.
- Cost Management & Process Improvement: Drive efficiency by identifying areas for cost optimisation and supporting process improvements across finance and operations.
- Monthly & Management Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial reports, assisting leaders in understanding financial performance, tracking KPIs, and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside the executive team to align financial planning with long-term organisational goals, supporting sustainable growth and operational excellence.
About You:
- Hold a bachelor's degree and CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, business partnering, or financial planning & analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Adaptive Planning, or similar).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-finance leaders.
