The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Strategic Portfolio and Revenue Growth Manager to join the passionate SPC team. The Strategic Revenue Growth Manager role plays a critical role in the continual evolution of the SPC Global portfolio to ensure that it is fit for purpose and can win in each of the categories that the business participates. In addition, the role provides strategic direction & governance on profitable revenue growth via pack, price, promotion, mix & optimal trade spend investment. A key part of the role will be to ensure the team is set up for success in a fast paced and dynamic environment. To do this, the candidate will need outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills. Strong communication and Excel skills will also be essential. Key Responsibilities: Revenue Growth Management Drive price realisation principles across the business to achieve Net Sales and Sales Contribution targets across the entire business and developing a framework to measure commercial impacts. Optimising promotional plans, managing price changes and establishing a Revenue Management framework and information tools to deliver improved commercial outcomes. Work closely with Sales teams on how to optimize ROI for trade spend and trading terms. Provide the Commercial Team with Revenue Management Tools and Analytics to enable the business to create value and meet revenue and profit targets Assist and drive direction on the “What If” analysis of promotions, pricing and trade spend investment. Support the NPD process thru recommendations on pricing & promotional plans Provide timely promotional deep dives & elasticities with actionable insights and recommendations. Embed recommendations as part of regular business rhythm. Share insights and planning with customers Provide insights on competitor promotional activity and strategies. Set promotional guardrails and manage process for any variations to agreed promotional plan Feed pricing strategy into Category Plans and Annual Business Plan Evaluate overall health of the portfolio thru the lens of Financials, Consumer, Customer & Operations Optimising the SKU base by identifying high vol / low margin, loss makers and duplication of formats Provide support to implement & drive pack price architecture. Working with key stakeholders across Category, Marketing & Sales to identify key opportunities / vulnerabilities across the portfolio The successful candidate will have: Tertiary Qualified in Business (or similar) or Finance (accounting)Successful track record working in FMCG across category, Revenue growth or sales Established reputation as a high achiever with strong commercial acumen Strong planning & organisation skills, and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects Ability to innovate and build on existing processes to increase efficiency/accuracy. Ability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work autonomously Self-lead with the ability to formally present and influence across all levels of internal & external stakeholders Highly resourceful, independent and proactive Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities Confident analytical and reporting skills Organised approach to tasks Able to follow direction whilst working in a proactive and independent manner Adaptable to change and work within a high pace environment Advanced skills in Excel, Power Point skills, high level system use and presenting to an audience.
