Senior Finance Manager - Private Equity Investment Firm

Description

As the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple investment vehicles.
• Preparing financial statements and liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance is met across APRA reporting and their AFSL license.
• Managing fund accounting, including capital calls, distributions, and performance reporting.
• Monitoring investment performance and working closely with portfolio companies to ensure financial governance.
• Implementing and improving internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
• Providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership and investors.
• Managing cash flow and liquidity across investment structures.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled finance professional with deep expertise in private equity, investment management and or funds management. Key requirements include:

• CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical accounting background.
• Experience in financial control, fund accounting, or investment management within a private equity, asset management, or financial services firm.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Will consider those from chartered working with Financial Services Clients.
