Our client is an innovative and well respected Not for Profit organisation working towards alleviating poverty. The organisation engages with key decision makers in government, business and the broader community in order to achieve social change. We are seeking a self-motivated positive individual to undertake the position of Head of Business Enablement who can work across relevant divisions.

About the organisation: This organisation is currently focusing its work on strategies to alleviate and prevent poverty for those most at risk. There are several organisational objectives including undertaking quality research; working collaboratively and in partnerships with others to influence policy and practice; strengthen organisational capability to support innovation and respond flexibly to changed circumstances and to collaborate with First Nation Australians and ensure their rights and aspirations are supported.

About the role:

The Head of Business Enablement is responsible for the effective execution of business planning, business performance management process, and effective design and execution of transformation projects. This role is responsible in effective design and execution of the major projects at, including oversight of contract and procurement management, effective project and risk management processes, continuous improvement, and compliance with the organisation’s quality governance framework. The role is responsible for internal audit activity and management of the internal audit partner. The Business Enablement team consists of subject matter experts in the domains of Risk, Quality, Strategic Procurement &Contract management, Project Management and Data Governance. This role operates in a highly collaborative organisational model!

About you: You will have demonstrated leadership experience leading high performing teams; significant experience in project management; experience in managing design and delivery of transformation projects involving major systems and IT upgrade; experience in managing effective risk management and quality frameworks; outstanding influencing, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills; tertiary qualification in a business, finance or related discipline, CPA or other relevant with postgraduate qualification; and strong enterprise leadership mindset – collaborative , people-centric approach to working.
