Job title: Head of Renewable Energy Investments
Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (Hybrid)
TGRC is currently supporting our client as they look to hire a Head of Renewable Energy Investments based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Your role:

Deal Origination.
Proactively identify and assess potential investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including greenfield, brownfield, and JV options.
Due Diligence.
Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Deal Structuring.
Develop and negotiate deal structures that maximize value creation and mitigate risks, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
Transaction Execution.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, from initial negotiations to closing, working closely with legal, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of acquired assets.
Relationship Management.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential sellers, financial advisors, industry partners, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate deal sourcing and execution.

Your background:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
At least 10+ years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a similar role, with a focus on M&A within the renewable energy sector.
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
Proven track record of successfully executing complex transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
