Head of Member Office - Member Engagement Competitive Salary Package Employee Benefits Insignia Financial Limited is an Australian financial services company which offers a range of products and services including financial advice, superannuation, investment management and trustee services The Role Reporting to the Chief Member Officer, you will oversee and challenge the strategic initiatives in place to uplift member experience, with a focus on empowering members to access the appropriate help, guidance and advice and improve their overall financial literacy. You will be confident in leading the development of strategic business planning sessions that focus on the delivery of quality member outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Oversight and challenge activities relating to the provision of advice, including general, intrafund and personal/comprehensive advice Challenge the annual business planning process including the RSEL business plans, Business Performance reviews and Legislated Outcomes Assessments. Oversight and challenge member and adviser engagement activities Primary contact for Corporate Affairs & Marketing Provide member analysis of the superannuation business to assist the RSELs with understanding the membership and their needs. Build solid working relationship with relevant functional areas Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategic planning and appropriate benchmarking Provide domain expertise within their portfolio Stay up to date with industry initiatives, reforms, and regulations Provide independent strategic and technical advice to RSEL Directors, including monitoring and assessing the impact of regulatory/business change on the superannuation business. Provide advice to Service Providers on the RSELs' expectations, and aide Service Providers in effectively delivering high quality reports and information to the RSEL Boards. Advocate the fiduciary role of the RSELs inside Insignia, acting in the interest of members and being an independent advocate for the RSEL Directors in the management and identification of conflicts of interest. Review relevant board and board committee papers and provide appropriate recommendations as per Member Office remit. Lead a high-performing team of professionals focussed on the best interest of members Build effective relationships with external stakeholders, professional bodies and all levels of management fostering trust and expanding the knowledge and importance of the superannuation business within Insignia To be successful in this role you will possess: Relevant Bachelor's degree and post-graduate tertiary qualifications Strong strategy and business planning experience In-depth knowledge, experience and skills working in the superannuation business Deep technical and commercial skills to manage diverse executive and senior management stakeholders across all Registrable Superannuation Entity License activities. In particular, possess a thorough understanding of product / service complexities and the associated risks posed by these complexities.
