Sumo Logic is seeking an outstanding leader with a track record of building teams and growing revenues within the ANZ region. This is a key role within the organization with ANZ being our most established region within APJ and one of the best performing globally. This Sales Leader must have experience of growing revenues through mentoring and guiding a seasoned group of enterprise and mid-market sales professionals within the ANZ territory. What you will be doing: Directly manage the sales team (6 - 10 AE's). Work closely with Sales Engineers, Partner Sales Manager & Sales Development professionals in the region. Capitalizing on your management & coaching skills, you bring strategy, planning and experience as you join your team in their sales efforts. Manage region’s day-to-day operations, including recruitment, retention, and performance management, employee development, and enablement. Work with Finance on sales team P&L and Operations forecasting. What we need you to bring: Minimum 5+ years of experience building, training and leading top-notch sales teams within the Saa S vertical.10+ years of experience primarily in direct sales but also channel sales. Deep experience selling a complex Saa S offering to IT Ops and/or Dev Ops leaders. Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management. A sales track record of leading teams to exceed quota objectives. Strong communication skills and a polished approach to management and sales. Ability to forecast sales accurately and a commitment to achieve those figures. Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid role). Bachelor’s Degree, MBA is a plus.
