As the Chief People Officer, you will directly lead a small autonomous team, and sponsor people and culture building initiatives. You will support the organisation through influential leadership to build people as our most valuable assets. Your ability to embed yourself as a trusted people advisor to our senior management group, giving actionable insights as well as leading top notch HR operations will be critical to your success. Your personal agility, commitment to service excellence and subject matter expertise that delivers pragmatic results will also contribute. Skills & Experience Values driven direct and influential leadership Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, preferably in a people-based organisation An allrounder with strong understanding of contemporary HR strategies, culture and capability uplift, HR operations, industrial relations and compliance Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management/ Industrial Relations or a related field, and postgraduate qualifications are desirable. Prior public sector or external audit is not necessary. The Organisation The Auditor-General provides assurance to Parliament on the accountability and performance of the Victorian public sector.
