The Role ABC Product and Technology Division has an outstanding opportunity for a leader to join and lead the Video Engineering team.
You will lead the ongoing lifecycle management of the ABC's national content production technology from inception to retirement.
The role will include: Leading and coordinating a team of technical engineers.
Contributing to the prioritisation of strategies investment decisions and their implementation within time and budget constraints.
Providing leadership over resolution of complex incident reports, support and resolution.
About You You have significant experience managing technology over its lifecycle and can demonstrate outstanding leadership skills that deliver outcomes.
You will also bring: Highly developed strategic and creative thinking skills.
Expert problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying complex issues and their resolution.
Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and coach high performing teams and foster a positive workplace culture.
Significant strategic relationship management and negotiation skills.
Well-developed strategic procurement, financial and resource management skills.

About ABC Product & Technology: The Product & Technology (P&T) division is responsible for delivering the technology and services that enable the ABC to fulfil its creative, strategic and business goals.
The scope of activities and responsibilities of the P&T division range from keeping ABC programs and services on-air and online, to delivering on key projects, as well as assisting in setting the technology strategy and architecture for the ABC.
