Senior Manager, Program Management and Support

QRIDA is seeking to fill the position of Senior Manager, Program Management and Support, within Program Strategy and Delivery. This is a permanent, full-time appointment to be based from the Brisbane Head Office. The successful candidate will have demonstrated high level experience in the delivery and on-going management of government financial assistance programs and/or delivery of commercial finance to the primary industry, business and/or non-profit sectors. As the Senior Manager, Program Management and Support, you will provide strategic advice and high-level Department leadership to support the Chief Lending Officer (CLO) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in relation to the program support and program management functions for financial assistance programs on behalf of program owners at a commonwealth, state and multi state level.

Key responsibilities include:
Provide leadership to the Department and support to the Chief Lending Officer in developing, implementing and monitoring of the strategic and operational processes of the Division including planning, risk management, performance reporting, human resource management and resource modelling, and financial management.
Lead the operations of the securities (loan fulfilment), program management (management and delivery of programs) and program support services (application registration, system functionality and payments) teams in order to support the delivery of government loan and grant programs.
Lead the delivery of the support and program and program management functions for QRIDA to ensure service level agreement obligations, agreed service standards, legislative requirements, standard assessing procedures, standard response indicators and quality assurance standards are achieved in a cost effective and timely manner.
Contribute to the promotion of QRIDA and its current assistance programs to key stakeholders (e.g. bankers, accountants, grower bodies, farm financial counsellors, producers and existing program owners), through the provision of information, advice or presentations.

QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
