Reporting to the Manager, Fund and Taxation Accounting, the Fund and Taxation Accountant will be responsible for the statutory and client reporting for the Small APRA Funds and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and new business funds and charitable trusts.  Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to - Ensuring lodgment timeframes and service standards are met for all funds, including new business funds Developing and enhancing relationships with internal and external clients, including auditors, by providing outstanding customer service and communication; Assisting in providing technical advice to all stakeholders, including Managers, Operations teams and auditors, and team members Working on projects as part of the project team. Ideally, you will have an excellent knowledge of superannuation and taxation legislation. And know the rules, practices, processes and procedures relating to superannuation. You are very proactive, highly organised and self-driven. You have well-developed interpersonal skills and can influence and communicate with various clients and stakeholders. You have excellent analytical skills, great attention to detail and great problem-solving capabilities. In addition, you enjoy working as part of a team and have a continuous improvement mindset. You will have a tertiary accounting qualification and have or study towards CA or CPA.
