Your day to day will consist of The Associate Director, Strategy owns the development of the 3-year strategy and roadmap for the Customer Success Business Unit using an insights-driven approach to identify opportunities, assess global trends and define compelling customer experiences for the future. You Will Be Accountable For: Thought leadership in Customer Success & Digital strategy, including defining our role in achieving the broader strategic goals of the business. Owning the strategic development across a broad range of subject areas including connected cross-channel journeys, channel strategy & mix, location strategy, intelligent operations, workforce strategy, flexible fulfilment, proactive care and others Insight into trends in customer interactions and expectations, business models. Working with the Executive and Board to articulate key strategic issues and provide sound recommendations to guide strategic decision-making Incubating new strategies to close the gap on consumer expectations What makes you perfect for the role? Bachelors Degree from leading university Post graduate qualification i.e. MBA Broad commercial experience in a fast paced, technologically advanced industry, with at least 2 years experience in strategy consulting. Management Consulting experience, top tier preferred Strong leadership skills and ability to influence at a divisional director level (e.g. MD, VP, Commercial Director) 5-10 years digital leadership with proven ability to drive digital transformation and adoption across marketing and Care experience. Solid understanding of business strategy and finance Analytical thinking and problem solving to a high level Highly proficient in the hypothesis led approach to problem solving and strategy development. Superior knowledge and use of a wide range of strategic frameworks and methodologies. Skilled at translating high-level strategy into detailed implementation plans Rapidly grasps abstract concepts with sophisticated linkages. Ability to see the “big picture” and gauge downstream impacts of strategy initiatives. You will have an intuitive understanding of the following: Customer drivers in Consumer and SMB Telco market Digital capabilities and future potential Impacts of implementing recommended strategies on current operations Optus is a place where we let you do you.
