We are seeking an experienced and motivated Almond Farm Manager to lead operations at our large and expanding almond orchard in the Mildura region.
This is a rare opportunity to take responsibility for over 1,400 acres of established almond orchards while also contributing to future expansion and new planting programs.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing farm operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the orchard achieves high productivity, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the almond orchard
Lead and coordinate farm staff and contractors
Plan and oversee irrigation, fertigation, pest and disease management
Manage harvesting operations and logistics
Monitor orchard performance to maximise yield and quality
Assist with new orchard developments and expansion planting
Maintain farm machinery, infrastructure, and operational systems
Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental standards
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years experience in the almond industry in a management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Sound knowledge of orchard operations including irrigation and crop protection
Ability to plan seasonal farm activities and manage teams efficiently
Must be legally eligible to live and work in Australia
