Engineering Geologist / Experienced Engineering Geologist

Engineering Geologist / Experienced Engineering Geologist – Geotech & Tunnels team, located in Sydney / Melbourne.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct engineering geology projects and deliver analysis and design tasks.
Deliver engineering geology analysis and design tasks in accordance with technical standards and client requirements.
Plan and execute projects of moderate complexity, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contributors to coordinate project deliverables.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and proposals for small to medium‐sized projects.
Manage project scope, risks, and competing priorities effectively.
Contribute to the commercial success of projects and the broader team.
Apply project management principles to achieve deliverables on time and to required standard.
Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related Geo Science discipline.
Minimum 2 years' experience in engineering geology, ideally within an engineering consultancy.
Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and specifications.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience preparing technical reports and proposals.
Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearly.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Client‐focused mindset and ability to manage expectations effectively.
Proficiency in relevant software and general computer applications.
Understanding of organisational capability and ability to leverage internal expertise.
