Join one of Victoria's largest education providers Key leadership opportunity Generous salary package and conditions YOUR ROLE The Regional General Manager, Northern Region will lead and direct school service delivery to ensure continuous school improvement in providing high-quality and equitable Catholic education in the region. This will be achieved through managing the delivery of the MACS Strategic Plan (MACS 2030: Forming lives to enrich the world) and service within the Northern Region through a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the development of system-wide strategic initiatives and leading their implementation, and by targeting resources and providing customised advice and service delivery to schools to maximise impact on student learning. The Regional General Manager, Northern Region will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Catholic education and a capacity to realise that mission in the context of the MACS Strategic Plan. The Regional General Manager, Northern Region will promote strong leadership and a culture of creativity and innovative practice. WHAT YOU WILL DO Drive the performance of high-quality outcomes for schools within the Northern Region Manage the implementation of MACS policies and initiatives Perform evaluations through research, data analysis and consultation to identify educational needs of the region Lead and coordinate Principal appointment processes within the region, utilising and liaising with both region -based system-wide resources to ensure optimal resource ABOUT YOU You have proven experience in guiding and building the capability of a multi-disciplined team providing to support to catholic schools and leaders or those schools, with the ability to deliver consistent messaging, energy and integrity You have a strong capability in driving high-quality results with a strong learning outcomes focus You can demonstrate knowledge and ability to identify and synthesise relevant information and data to conceptualise solutions and deliver sound resolutions You can demonstrate knowledge of the education sector with a strong understanding of the day to day operations of Catholic schools, including applicable legislation, child safety obligations and the governance requirements at all levels of the sector. applicable legislation, child safety obligations and governance requirement HOW TO APPLY Please refer to the position description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.
