Prospero Teaching are working with a Jewish school located in the North Shore area who are looking to appoint a Head of Primary ELC – K6. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Early Learning Centre (ELC) – Year 6 to join our team starting from Term 2. As the Head of ELC – Year 6, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and guidance to our educators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education in alignment with our school's values and ethos. Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Early Learning Centre and Year 6 team. Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. Collaborate with staff, parents, and stakeholders to enhance the educational experience for all students. Implement curriculum initiatives that reflect the unique needs and values of our Jewish school community. Oversee the development and implementation of assessment and reporting processes to monitor student progress. Support professional development opportunities for staff to continually enhance teaching practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Relevant teaching experience in Early Childhood Education and/or Primary Education. Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a school setting. Understanding and appreciation of Jewish culture, values, and traditions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
