Teaching - Primary (Education & Training)Perth College is seeking a student-focused, innovative, passionate teacher who has the ability to teach in a Year 7 to 12 environment. The Head of Year roles commence in 2025, and the successful applicants will be appointed to full-time ongoing teaching positions at the School. The Head of Year model at Perth College is: Year 7 stand alone as a transition specialist role. Year 8-12 as a cycle. The Head of Year is a permanent full-time teaching position. The load distribution for this 1.0 FTE position will be 0.6 FTE Teaching and 0.4 FTE Head of Year. For 2025 we are seeking a Head of Year 7 standalone role and a Head of Year 12 as part of the Year 8-12 cycle positions. In order to undertake this role, you must be a TRBWA qualified teacher able to teach secondary students in one of the Year 7 to 12 SCASA Learning areas. This challenging, collaborative, and rewarding opportunity is ideal for an educator who demonstrates a deep understanding of the unique needs of student’s pastoral needs in Years 7 to 12. Some knowledge or understanding of Positive Psychology principles would be considered advantageous. The appointed teacher must be registered with TRBWA.
