Classification: Academic Level C or D Salary package: $129,049to $163,808 per annum plus 17% superannuation Term: Continuing, Full-Time An opportunity to lead assessment for the ANU medical program Responsibility for the design, development and implementation of assessments Work with academic, clinical and professional staff to lead the design, development and implementation of best-practice fit-for-purpose assessments and systems of assessment in the School of Medicine and Psychology programs, with a particular focus on the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MCHD). This includes written and clinical examinations as well as workplace-based and other methods of assessment. Position overview ANU has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP), the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels. The Head of Assessment is a critical team member ensuring the successful implementation of the medical program working with clinical, academic and professional staff within SMP. They will directly and indirectly contribute to the academic mission of ANU and the SMP.
