How will I help?
As Director – Private Lending, you will be responsible for driving a vision that aligns to our Private Wealth proposition and ensuring a robust Credit risk management framework is embedded through our business and incorporated into our credit and lending processes.
This role is part of the Private Banking Services Leadership team and plays an integral role engaging across the value chain both internally and externally.
The Key Objectives of this role include:
- Driving transformational change to increase FTE productivity and client experience and embed Group strategic, compliance and risk management initiatives.
- Continue to build on a high performance, values driven culture that continues to challenge the status quo.
- Optimise the P&L impact of credit/portfolio risk and to improve the quality of the loan book by proactively and responsibly managing, in conjunction with State Heads, all ongoing lending exposures to negate lending losses.
- Provide an efficient and effective lending process, and continually seek to improve this process, thereby making it easy for our bankers to lend and our customers to borrow.
- Broaden the risk appetite to more appropriately reflect the unique credit requirements of HNW customers.
- Work with Banking and Financial Markets business partners to develop lending products that fulfil the wealth needs of HNWs and support the Private Bank in achieving its holistic wealth agenda.
